Robin Whitsell is passionate about her kids, her marriage, her dog and popular culture.
These traits infuse her work and help her relate to the parents, health care professionals,
pet experts, celebrities, and kids she interviews for her various assignments. Robin’s
goal with her celebrity interviews is to reveal something unexpected about a famous
person that they are thrilled to share.
Her work has appeared in regional publications such as Carolina Parent, Kansas City
Baby, NY Metro Kids and the Washington Post. She has also been published nationally
in Dog Fancy, WAG, and Clean Run. Her literary work has appeared in the Urban Hiker.
Robin’s scientific background allows her to write on medical or technical subjects
thoroughly and yet understandably for a lay audience. Years of writing about complicated
medical procedures for folks with a 4th grade reading level have trained her to
write plainly and clearly.
